CBT Cognitive Behavior Therapy Healing with Horses 3 sessions total- 2 hours each including various healing modalities by both practitioners $675 contact us
At its core, equine therapy is a form of therapy that involves interactions between humans and horses. Equine assisted learning, on the other hand, focuses on educational and personal development goals. Both approaches harness the innate qualities of horses to facilitate growth, healing, and learning. Imagine yourself in a serene and picturesque setting, surrounded by gentle and majestic horses. The moment you step into the presence of these magnificent creatures, you are greeted with a sense of calm and tranquility. The horses exude a soothing energy that instantly puts you at ease.
As you engage in equine therapy or equine assisted learning sessions, you develop a profound connection with the horses. Horses are incredibly perceptive animals, able to sense and respond to human emotions and intentions. They have a remarkable ability to mirror our feelings and provide immediate feedback, creating a powerful platform for self-reflection and personal growth. During these sessions, you may find yourself participating in a range of activities, such as grooming, leading, or simply spending quiet time in the company of the horses. Through these interactions, you learn about trust, empathy, communication, and boundaries. Horses teach us to be present in the moment, have coherency between our heart and brain and to communicate authentically. The therapeutic benefits of equine therapy and equine assisted learning are numerous. For individuals struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder, these sessions can provide a safe space to address and process emotions. The non-judgmental nature of horses fosters a sense of acceptance and unconditional support.
In the realm of education, equine assisted learning sessions offer a dynamic and experiential approach to learning. They can be particularly effective for children and adolescents with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, or social difficulties. The hands-on nature of these sessions promotes problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills, all while fostering a sense of self-confidence and empowerment. In summary, equine therapy and equine assisted learning sessions provide a warm, nurturing, and transformative experience. They allow individuals to tap into the wisdom and healing power of horses, fostering personal growth, emotional well-being, and educational development.
Whether you seek support for mental health concerns or wish to enhance your learning journey, these sessions offer a truly special and enriching opportunity to connect with these magnificent animals. We will be offering 1:1 sessions and group all day clinics. -
Watsu Water Dance/Zero Gravity Movement Therapy 60 min $120 at public pool or $220 for presence of 2nd therapist also CPR certified in private pool contact us
During a Watsu session, the practitioner supports and moves the client's body through gentle, flowing movements in the water. The water's buoyancy and warmth help to promote deep relaxation and alleviate muscle tension. The combination of gentle stretching, joint mobilization, and massage techniques used in Watsu can have several therapeutic benefits that improve flexibility, range of motion, and circulation. As one of the many Energy Medicine practices, Watsu is known to reduce stress, promote relaxation, provide relief for various musculoskeletal conditions and take gravity pressure off the human skeletal.
Please understand, It's important to note that Watsu should be performed by a trained and certified practitioner, under supervision of a CPR certified instructor or lifeguard. Depending on the location of the appointment, a 2nd therapist may need to be present for safety, e.i. public pool vs private pool. If you're interested in experiencing Watsu or incorporating it into your physical therapy routine, consider coupling watsu water massage with Rolfing.
